The RedSkulls played against the Slappers tonight in a very tough exciting game, here is a rundown.
RedSkulls won the toss and decided to receive
The ball went long and the feared RedSkull front line started bashing with minimal effect, Ebeneezer McGhoul went to pick up the ball and fumbled it for a TO
The Slappers came up fast putting serious pressure on the RedSkulls and moving players into the REdSKulls back line to harass the ball carrier
Ebeneezer McGhoul finally picked up the ball and quick passed it to Coull McGhoul who took refuge behind a thin front wall.
The Slappers regrouped knocking down the mummies and KOing Coull McGhoul The ball bounced out and Anna Mull swooped onto the ball and ran down toward the touchdown line with a pair of players running interferance
The RedSkulls couldnt do much and Anna Mull dodged away from the feeble defence to score the 1st TD of the match
Slappers 1-0 up
The Slappers kicked off again and once again the RedSkulls front line was ineffective and once again Ebeneezer McGhoul fumbled the ball.
Once again the slappers put pressure on the RedSkulls who were able to fend them off. Ebeneezer McGhoul picked off the ball and handed it to Wight Supremacy to go into the protective cage but he dropped the ball.
A small scrimmage ensued but once again Anna Mull recovered the ball and ran it in for a TD

2nd Half - Coull comes out of the KO bin
RedSkulls kick off and the Slappers recover the ball, after a couple of turns of mid field struggle the Slappers run a hard drive down the left flank with 7 players. Wight Power put himself next to the adoring crowd to allow Coull McGhoul to crowdsurf Dick Jipper who was holding the ball.
The crowd loved the move and threw the ball long into the Slapper back half and Gary 'Digger' Stills recovered the ball and ran it in to score
Slappers lead 2 - 1
With only 2 turns to go the RedSkulls loaded the front line ready to try the almost impossible to even the game, the ball was kicked shallow and bounced just behing the ogre on the front line. The Slappers surrounded the ball with their whole team and tried to pick it up....and failing. The ball scattering to a lineman in the middle of the cages side wall.
The RedSkulls performed a perfect 'peel and push' finally knocking down the ball carrier on the edge of the cage and hoping for a favourable bounce but the ball had other things on its mind and bounced behind the ogre once again in the middle of the cage.
The Slappers had noticed that Coull McGhoul had moved into their backfield and with only 1 more turn to play they realized that he was the RedSkulls only chance to score.
3 players peeled off of the back of the cage and blitzed Coull McGhoul to no effect. but the ball was still very protected.
Coach Mango saw that there were 3 players around the ball and prayed to the dark gods for help and the RedSkulls went into atction.
They swamped the ogre and the lineman allowing the mummy to blitz the ogre and tumble it into the lineman pushing him away from the ball and knocking down the ogre (after burning a RR)
Coull McGhoul dodged away and moved to the endzone hoping for the pass ......but would it come?
Ebeneezer McGhoul had been pretty useless up until this point but maybe this was his time to shine. He moved into a tacklezone to pick up the ball and deftly grabbed it and dodged away, he sprinted as far as he could ready for the pass but it was still going to be a Long Pass.
He cocked his arm and let it fly, the crowd held its breath and the dark gods smiled as it flew straight to Coull McGhoul who caught it safely for an equalizer in the RedSkulls last turn

A fantastic tight hard game, took alot of skill and BS to pull out a draw after going 2-0 down in the first half

RedSkulls get on the Board
The RedSkulls won a hard fought victory today over the Pimp Hands after being totally demoralized in their 1st game.
The game moved back and forth and the RedSkulls probably would have lost if it wasnt for their new recruit Coull McGhoul. Coull scored 2 TD's in an impressive performance and threw a superb pass to Pierre in the endzone but Pierre was so absorbed by his impressive breadstick he forgot to catch the ball.
Lets hope that there are more victories to come for the RedSkulls
