After standing toe to bone with the heavy hitting DOTNW the Blood Maidens left Coach Slim Shady cursing his players after a couple of terrible tactical choices left the door open for the Dead to sneak a 2-1 win.
This was compounded by the loss of Shadowpounce when Angua, furious after she sent a number of DOTNW players off the pitch, utilisied his patented "Mortal Kombat Finishing Move" play to tear her head off in a glorious scene of blood and carnage.
The BM fans were overjoyed at the bloodletting but a little disappointed that it was one of their own......
Coach Shady stated - "it was tough seeing all our good work undone but at least we have a merc round next week to take the pounding while we source a new player"- Assassins.... they're the Braith Anastas and Willy Masons of the BB teams. Totally overrated".
A good start to the season may be for nought if the Maidens can't see off the harder hitting teams of Div A before the playoffs.

HG Blood Maidens Expand Roster
Director of Chaos and Mayhem Carwyn Llewelyn has kept it in the family by recruiting another of the noble house of Widowmaker.
The sister of star Blitzer Eyecandi - Eyefull, has joined the (so far) successful franchise as they add more bodies to bench.
After seeing the results of Coach Slim Shady's conditioning programme coming to fruition through the majestic physique of Dominatrix Bloodwreath, Eyefull commented:
"I'm looking forward to bulking up these bad boys and causing some pain and anguish - bring it".
Full of confidence after an improved crowd turnout, the Blood Maidens are looking forward to giving their fans what they're after - blood and touchdowns.

Match Report - Blood Maidens v Sneakers
After a good start the Sneakers took a turn for the worst as their much vaunted Gutter Runner's proved incapable of completing simple passes or dodging the Blood Maiden's line elves.
Conversely the Maiden's offence proved adept at laying the dirty ratties on their backs however Coach Shady commented that they'd be entering an " intensive gym session concentrating on building power and concealing knives" in an attempt to improve the frequency with which they put their opponents out of action.
Rookie Blitzer and Captain Eyecandi Widowmaker was quoted as saying "Those vermin are lucky the Coach wanted to win. Next time we'll take our time in dismantling their innards proper like".
Meanwhile Skitture Kreep is under a cloud of doubt after being caught with an illegal substance following the post match drug testing. Significant levels of warpstone powder were caught in what they believe may be urine...... maybe....... It could just be his energy drink....... cause he has energy legs and runs like a kenyan...... mutations anyone?

In breaking news the Skavenblight Sneakers management has requested an investigation into the "obvious use of unauthorised dark magic on behalf of the Hag Graef Blood Maidens". Sneakers management claim that players cannot possibly preform so badly "unless under a curse or some other foul enchantment". Unsubstanciated reports claim that Coach Adam is currently trying to obtain similar powers for his own use.....

Hag Graef capital expansion programme
Another team in the Hag Graef Blood Maidens franchise has been formed as Director of Mayhem Carwyn Llewelyn makes good use of a recent capital injection from the highborn of the infamous citadel.
With the fortunes of their initial foray into the spiky pain filled realm of fantasy football sinking a little, he knows an adequate return from the franchise is required as the alternative is an excruiatingly painful and slow demise at the hands of his benefactors.
Slaves aren't the only income for the denizens of Naggaroth and they look set to continue the bloodletting and inflicting of pain on their opponents (as well as a large helping of misery....) as they seek fortune and fame on the field.
They have knives and whips, and they're not afraid to use them!!
